Boy Scout Troop 72 Tree Sales to Benefit Queen Anne Food bank
Queen Anne Boy Scout Troop 72 is once again selling Christmas trees and holiday decorations in the Upper Queen Anne Safeway parking lot, located at 2100 Queen Anne Ave North, near the corner of Boston and Queen Anne Ave. Proceeds will benefit Queen Anne Food Bank and the activities of the troop.
Service plays an important part in boy scouts, building character and citizenship. Troop 72 boys regularly volunteer their time and efforts to make positive contributions to the Queen Anne community. These remarkable young men give back to Queen Anne with pride and enthusiasm.
This year, the Seattle Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus, who has been bringing the joy of barbershop harmony to music lovers in the Seattle area since 1949, are helping staff the lot as part of their commitment to giving back to the Seattle community.
