Rodgers Park overview.jpg

For April, the Chamber puts the spotlight on Aegis of Queen Anne at Rodgers Park. A member of the Chamber since it opened in October, 2016, the community has become one of Queen Anne's hidden gems! We sat down with its Director of Marketing, Mary Miller, and asked her a few questions.

Tell us what Aegis Living of Queen Anne Rogers Park is in a nutshell.
Aegis of Queen Anne at Rodgers Park is a community where seniors can receive care without having to give up their chosen lifestyle. We take pride in our beautiful setting overlooking Rodgers Park. As a team, what's important to us is our our culture and our quality of care and service we provide our residents. Something that differentiates us from other independent and assisted living communities is that we are able to provide care in most circumstances until end-of-life. Folks are grateful to know that they likely will never need to move again.

There are two Aegis living in Queen Anne. What are the different features between the one on Galer and at Rodgers Park?
Aegis/Rodgers Park does have some larger spaces and more amenities, including a fitness pool, a juice bar, a pub, and a yoga studio. Also, our community has more apartments that include full kitchens, decks, as well as larger, two-bedroom options. Both communities, however, offer the same level of care, which includes both high physical and cognitive care. In addition, both have separate, secure, memory care areas that are state of the art.

How does Aegis Living of Queen Anne Rodgers Park get involved in the community?
We are fortunate to have an abundance of meeting & event space that we offer to the greater Queen Anne Community (often at no charge). We currently host Girl and Boy Scout troops, as well as many other organizations and boards that need meeting space. We also active participate in the Queen Anne Farmers Market, the Taste of Queen Anne, the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, and Queen Anne Days. We love being part of this wonderful community!
